Rejewvenator Tapping Party @ Bricktop

This week is another fun one. We got our hands on a delicious keg from HE'BREW, this time it is the 'Rejewvenator 2010'. Half Doppelbock and half Belgian style Dubbel brewed with Concord Grape juice. Sound crazy? It's amazing, filled with flavors of caramel, molasses, grape and even a hint of chocolate. I'm in love.

Just for fun, we will also be tapping a keg of HE'BREW Bittersweet Lenny's R.I.P.A. (Yes, we got it). A wallop of spicy rye malt, caramel, and a punch of luscious American hops.

L' Chaim!

One huge announcement and quite the October calendar lined up, be ready!

Modern Monks getting more press

Having watched and been connecting to the story of the Monks since their inception it is always great to get emails from Bob highlighting their accomplishments and accolades. The latest comes from what appears to be a new source of beer information for Nebraskans called The Bottle Chronicles. It appears that the Star City Blog has got themselves a beer and wine writer, Alexis Abel.

It is always great news to have more writers out there focusing on this growing scene in Nebraska and the country. I look forward to more good stories from Alexis.

This article focused on the success and growth of the Modern Monks at Misty's Steakhouse. For those of us that know them and their beer this comes as no surprise at all, but there is always that risk and I for one am happy they are blowing past that risk.

Congrats to the Modern Monks for continuing to put out great beer and growing their business. I raise a glass to you, prost!
