Jake's Friday Tapping Parties / Lincoln: Green Flash 'Palate Wrecker' / Omaha:‏ Odell ‏'Shenanigans'

Friday (4/6) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: The answer is: why not? This Friday in Lincoln, we will be tearing our palates out with Green Flash's 'Palate Wrecker'. a 9.5% abv West Coast IPA that mashed and sparged with hopped wort (you read that right, hopped wort, instead of plain old water). Originally made for Hamilton's Tavern (in our opinion the best beer bar in San Diego) for their 2nd anniversary. Be prepared to leave your taste buds at Jake's!

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha has a VERY special treat this Friday, with the tapping of Odell 'Shenanigans'. An oak aged "Crimson" ale with Brettanomyces. You will not want to miss your chance to try the draft version of this!

Brewery Description: "Shenanigans is a ruby colored brew that was aged in oak barrels with just a touch of Brettanomyces. The subtle Brett character offers a hint of tartness to complement the rich malts. Toasted oak and vanilla fill the nose, and a touch of dried cherry plays with the light citrus hop flavor."

5:30 pm Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
