Homebrew Contest at Lucky Bucket

Lucky Bucket will be holding a homebrew competition on July 20th in conjunction with their BeerBBQ. The competition will be a public voting based contest where the homebrewer with the most votes will brew their recipe on Lucky Bucket's pilot batch system. The beer will be served either at the Lucky Bucket tasting room or a bar of the homebrewer's choosing. Each homebrewer will get free admission with their entry to the BeerBBQ. Sounds like a win/win deal to me!

Edit:
In addition, I should add that they are expecting somewhere around 1500 people so you will want to keep that in consideration when planning on how much beer to bring to be judged. If it were me, I would plan on bringing a full 5 gallon batch. Also, if you plan on entering, send an email to chris@luckybucketbrewing.com and Chris will get you set up.

My guess is that just showing up with homebrew is all you need to do, but I will find out for sure and let you know.

I added some information to the post regarding what you need to do to enter.

If they are expecting 1500 people, you may want to bring more than 5 gallons of beer. It is not hard to go thru 5 gallons of beer at BeerQuest and that is an event for approximately 100 people...
