Jake's Friday- Lincoln: LOF Biere de Garde / Omaha: He'Brew Jewbelation Sweet 16

Friday (11/23) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It's time for another delicious collaboration from the New Belgium Lips of Faith series.  This time they have made a delicious Biere de Garde with the Belgian-style brewery Brewery Viviant out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Brewery description: "Famous in Michigan for farmhouse ales, our friends at Brewery Viviant introduced us to their biere de garde ale yeast strain. From there, we imagined a slightly tart, intentionally dry beer with hints of bergamot citrus that pairs perfectly with French cheeses."

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: It's going to be quite the celebration as we tap He’Brew Jewbelation Sweet 16.  Every year the brewers at Shmaltz Brewing Company concoct an anniversary beer with a similar number of hops, malt, and ABV % as their years in operation.  This year it was brewed with 16 hops, 16 malts, and  a whopping 16% ABV.  If it is anything like past years, everyone is in for a real treat.

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
