Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Sam Adams Chocolate Squirrel / Omaha: Wasatch Winterfest

Friday (1/4) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: Chocolate lovers prepare yourselves.  Samuel Adams (ever heard of them?) has created Chocolate Squirrel, a draft only chocolate Cream Ale.  Do not expect the usual chocolate Stout, this is an brown/amber colored ale with intense chocolate notes, and not a bit of roast character.  Made in such small quantity, we couldn't find a word of info from Samuel Adams about this beer.

Our own description: "Serious chocolate bomb! Don't miss it!"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Wasatch Winterfest has become a yearly treat to patiently wait for.  Loaded with caramel malt and resinous hops, it's a perfect compliment to the season.

Brewery description: "Wasatch Winterfest Seasonal Ale (7.1% alcohol by volume) is a rich amber ale with caramel malt flavors and a large hop presence. Brewed with the finest Northwestern pale and caramel malts then generously hopped with Columbus and Amarillo hops. Crafted in the spirit and style of robust winter ales."

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
