Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Lagunitas 'WTF' Draft & 'Sucks' Cask / Omaha: Ovila Abbey Quad & Okoboji 33

From Jake's Cigars & Spirits:

Friday (3/8) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It's a double Lagunitas tapping night with the draft version of Wilco Tango Foxtrot (WTF), and a special cask of Sucks flowing on the beer engine.

Wilco Tango Foxtrot- "WTF Ale. A malty, robust, jobless Recovery Ale! We’re not quite in the Red, or in the Black... Does that mean we’re in the Brown?

A big Ol’ Imperial Brown Ale to help you with your slipperly slide on into springtime. Rich, smooth, dangerous & chocolatey. "

RateBeer score: 99

Sucks (CASK)- "Originally brewed in 2011 as a Brown Shugga’ substitute, due to construction-induced capacity issues. But we liked it so much it had to make a return trip.

...a ‘Cereal Medley’ of Barley, Rye, Wheat, and Oats…. Full of complexishness from the 4 grains, and weighing in at 7.85% abv, Then joyously dry-hopped for that big aroma and resinous hop flavor."

RateBeer Score: 100

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: It's double tapping time again!  We'll be getting into a keg of Okoboji 33 and Sierra Nevada Ovila Plum Quad!

Okoboji 33- This is the second time we're putting this vanilla and maple syrup beer on tap, the first time didn't go so well as some how we'd gotten an incomplete batch. We understand that young breweries can make mistakes so we're giving it another go! In order to atone for the sin of off-tasting beer we're offering this go around at a discounted price.

Sierra Nevada Ovila Abbey Quad With Plums- "Ovila Abbey Quad is heady with aromas of caramel, rich malt, and dark fruit balanced by the spiciness and delicate fruity notes of a traditional Belgian yeast. This complex beer is a collaboration between Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and the monks of the Abbey of New Clairvaux. It features sugar plums grown on the grounds of the Abbey and harvested by the monks in Vina. We hope you enjoy this collaboration ale."

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
