Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Blue Blood Barrel Aged Saison / Omaha: Great Divide Heyday

From Jake's Cigars & Spirits:

Friday (4/19) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: We got our hands on an absolute gem from the guys at Blue Blood.  The boys over on South street put their 1335 Wicked Snout Farmhouse Ale in a James Arthur Vineyards white wine barrel for some further maturation, and the result is fantastic.  Subtle vanilla and wood tannins supply a beautiful kiss to a pale Farmhouse-style ale with a mild white pepper spiciness and hint of white grapes.  Just can't endorse this one enough, it's a wow beer!

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: We are ready for good weather damn it!  So we are going to force it in with the tapping of Great Divide's new seasonal HEYDAY!

Brewery description: "HEYDAY is an eminently pleasant Belgian-Style White Ale.  Brewed with barley, oats and raw wheat, Heyday is uniquely flavorful for such an easy-drinking ale.  With a slightly cloudy appearance and traditional yeast, it is a balanced, agreeable offering.  Exuding mild hop bitterness and a nuanced body, this is the easiest decision you’ll make all day."

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
