Lincoln homebrewer Tim Thomssen's Raspberry Berliner Weisse has been announced as one of the three 2015 Sam Adams Longshot competition winners.  The annual contest takes on the task of judging thousands of homebrewed beers and narrowing them down to two homebrewers and one Sam Adams employee.  The winning beers will be re-brewed by Sam Adams, and distributed across the entire nation sometime in May of 2016 in a special six-pack.

No stranger to winning on the national level, Tim is currently the reigning Midwest Homebrewer of the Year, High Plains Homebrewer of the Year, and Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing Grand Champion.  Tim also won two medals in this year's American Homebrewers Association National Homebrew Competition, which is the homebrewing equivalent to the GABF.  In short, Tim makes some incredible beer.
