Bob's Donut Hole Maple Donut Porter Tapping Party @ Scratchtown Brewing Company (4/30)

From Scratchtown Brewing Company:

Help us kick cancer's ass! We're tapping Bob's Donut Hole Maple Donut Porter on Saturday, April 30 at 5pm to support our friend and fellow brewer Bobby Myers [Modern Monks].

Some background for the unfamiliar: Sometimes beer is more than just "beer". To us it's a livelihood where many friendships are made. About two years ago, our good friend Bob Myers brewed 447 Maple Donut Porter with us here in Ord. Fast forward to February 2016 when we learned Bob was diagnosed with coleorectal cancer. We felt the best way we could support our friend is brew 447 again and donate the proceeds to his cancer treatment fund.

This go-around, we're making 447 again with two dozen donuts & two gallons of maple syrup. We're renaming it Bob's Donut Hole Maple Donut Porter. Help us kick cancer's ass and support the recovery of our friend, a guy who's been a part of the Nebraska's craft beer scene since it's been a scene.

So join us for a great time - all proceeds of the beer will be donated to Bob's cancer fund. You can follow Bob's recovery here: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bobseviltreatments/journal
