Hops for Harmony

I got an email about an upcoming event last night. I am always grateful when people contact us to let us know of their events because that is the reason I started this blog, to let people know all the events and goings on around this state with regards to beer. A lot of the times they are associated with fund raisers and that is even better. Hops for Harmony is no different. Here is a little description I received in the email.

This will be the second year that the Papillion Area Lions Club will host Hops for Harmony. It is a beer tasting event in which all the proceeds benefit Project Harmony. Project Harmony is an organization that works with and helps abused or potentially abused children and their families. The evening offers beer tasting from Nebraska micro brews and well as local distributors. Hops for Harmony also has food from many local area restaurants. The evening also includes a raffle and silent auction. It is a really fun evening!

Helping out abused kids can't be a bad thing and enjoying fine food and beer can't be either. Here are the details of the event.
