The wait is finally over.   After barrel aging for over a year, handcrafted Chava Rum is ready to be enjoyed by everyone! Made from molasses and sugar cane, our rum boasts flavorful notes of vanilla and honey. The rich golden color was infused into the spirit as it marinated in the charred oak barrels. Chava Rum is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but will also blend perfectly into your favorite cocktail!  Bottles will be available for sale on Friday, November 16th at the Lucky Bucket's tasting room only and will retail for $35.00. Chava Rum will not be available in retail outlets. Chava rum is the first rum produced in Nebraska since distilling was outlawed during prohibition. Be a part of Nebraska history and come out and get your bottle before it's too late!
"The whole team here at Lucky Bucket is excited to finally release our first barrel aged spirit. Chava Rum is going to showcase what a handcrafted rum tastes like. It has been a goal from the beginning of our company to offer great tasting local spirits. We don't use gimmicks, expensive marketing, or giant assembly lines to make our products. For the rum, we used the highest quality molasses and sugar cane. The mixture was distilled in our handmade copper pot stills.  We then filled brand new oak barrels and allowed the spirit to age for over a year.  Our assembly line consists of a few guys filling the bottles one at a time and sticking the labels on by hand.  Making great tasting beer and spirits is our passion and we are proud to be able to share Chava Rum with our fans." ~ Owner and founder Jason Payne
