Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Zipline Alt & Cask IPA / Omaha: N’Ice Chouffe

Friday (12/28) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It's time for more Zipline folks!  Lincoln's newest craft brewery has blessed us with two more offerings for our Friday release party that you will not want to miss!

Cooper Alt: "A unique ale/lager hybrid. This bronzed brew is unfiltered, and designed to be extremely drinkable, with subtle nuances of chocolate and hazelnut. A late gift of Sterling hops in this brew leaves a little hoppiness for your palate to ponder before the next sip."

NZ IPA (served on cask, dry-hopped with Pacific Gem hops): "Our New Zealand IPA delivers crazy amounts of hop flavor, without the palate pounding bitterness of some IPAs. Kicking it further into brave new territory, we used the famously citrus-packed New Zealand hops (Pacific Gem, Pacific Jade, Motueka, and Wakatuto) make a unique and wonderful IPA."

**Special bonus tapping, Goose Island Night Stalker**
Brewery description: "A heavily-hopped imperial stout, Night Stalker is a heavyweight of a beer. It delivers a formidable punch of hops and rich roasted malt notes to the nose in a silky body that's as dark as night."

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: A very special treat is in store this Friday with the tapping of N’Ice Chouffe, a spiced Belgian Strong Ale from the d’Achouffe brewery.  This winter treat enjoys a 99 rating on RateBeer, and is the perfect remedy for this silly weather.

Brewery description: "The N’ICE CHOUFFE is a strong dark beer that will warm you up during the winter months.  It is spiced (with thyme and curaçao) and a light hop taste, a well-balanced beer.  The N’ICE CHOUFFE is unfiltered, and re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg."

**Special bonus tapping, Lagunitas New Dogtown Pale Ale**
Brewery description: "We took our original brew — Dogtown Pale Ale — and hybridized it with the Kill Ugly Radio, a 22 oz seasonal we released commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of Frank Zappa’s second album. The flavor was too good to let float in the abyss, so we revamped our original recipe and never looked back."
