GET YER' BREW ON AT THE 2017 OMAHA BEER FEST

String up those pretzel necklaces, the craft beer event of the summer is fast approaching! Omaha Beer Fest returns for its seventh year on Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th at its new location, on the infield turf at Horseman's Park.

Hundreds of unique craft beers, ciders, and meads will be available for tasting, including debuts from Defiance, First Street, and Saugatuck along with the return of some of your favorites like Oskar Blues, Infusion, and Backswing. Fourteen Nebraska breweries are included in this year's festivities, including Kinkaider Brewing (Broken Bow), Ploughshare Brewing (Lincoln), Thunderhead Brewing (Kearney), Nebraska Brewing and Upstream Brewing (Omaha).

Have you had a chance to experience a Silent Disco Party yet? Friday night, patrons can dance and enjoy their favorite music genre from wireless headsets in the Silent Disco Party tent! Fans can experience various channels as a group at the same time, despite the fact that onlookers can't hear what they are dancing to...which is half the fun!

On Saturday at 4:00pm, the highly anticipated BEER AND BEARDS CONTEST returns, sponsored by Bearded Builders and Horseman's Park. Dozens of hairy contestants will show off their manlihood for cash and other great prizes. Sign up when you get to the festival!

Saturday's VIP Lounge features a craft beer tasting by Tallgrass Brewing Co. and a buffet of delicious summer foods provided by Ralston Arena Catering. Also on Saturday, hourly Beer Academy sessions are free with admission, and include beer and food pairings as well as special and exclusive tastings.

Save $10 when buying tickets in advance rather than at the gate on the day of the festival.
