Some more beer events

I have got lazy and busy at the same time and really haven't been keeping up on this blog as much as I should so I apologize. I go on vacation next week so you won't see anything from me then but I hope the vacation does me some good and I can get back on track.

Here is some great info from Nebraska Brewing company of some upcoming events they are involved but there are also some general beer events. If you don't belong to their newsletter, go sign up.

May 30th - Shadow Lake Summer Concert Series. Ok, gang. Believe it or not, the real reason for dropping in on these concerts is to enjoy the music - but we'll be there as well to kick it up a notch!
Serving our Craft Ales and Burgers & Brats down by the fireplace - we just know this is going to be an awesome evening.
Mad Libby is the band for this particular night.
June 8- Our Next Beer & Food Pairing Dinner. These special dinners are awesome but we've found that we need to move them to an area within the restaurant that's a tad less noisy. This time around, we'll use the front dining area under the mezzanine that should make things much more comfortable and give us a little more elbow room.
Menu has been posted both in the restaurant and on our Website under the News Section. We've also taken the time to post this event out on the Beer Advocate website so you've got multiple methods that will help you figure out that you need to be here!
Tickets will be sold the same as the last time around. $50 per plate, advance sales only. It's time to start phoning in and getting those tickets.
June 27,28,29 - Omaha Summer Arts Festival. You can find us under the tent that houses the Nebraska Craft Brewers - and believe it or not, we'll have our beer with us. This is a great time - bands, food, and beer.
We'll be pouring our Belgian Wit and our Brunette Nut Brown Ale at this event. More info can be found here.
July 11,12,13. Westfest 2008 - A Taste of West Omaha. At The Shops of Legacy located at 168th and West Center Road. This is another of those wonderful and HUGE events that will make people question your genetics if you miss it. A weekend long community celebration of food, arts & crafts, music, and shopping.
Among other things, a weekend long classic car show, outdoor concerts, over 30 food vendors, and they've even got a pie eating contest. I can't do it justice so just go to their website here.
Oh, I don't get to say it very often - but in addition to our beer - we'll also be serving food!
Jul 18th & 19th. Riverfest 2008. The Bellevue Chamber has always been very kind to us and in typical fashion has selected us to brew a special beer just for their event! Red, White & Que is the Nebraska State BBQ Championship & Music Festival and we'll play an important part in ensuring that everyone has access to NBC Craft Beer.
What are we brewing? A special Red that we're calling Riverfest Red. I can't wait for this event... I found info on the event here.
