Tasting at Box Awesome TONIGHT

Brother Matt is going to be doing another tasting of some fine brews at Box Awesome in Lincoln tonight. This is part of the First Friday series in Lincoln that pairs Art with wine and now beer in the Haymarket area. The event will start at 6pm and continue until 9pm and the cost is $5.

Here is a taste of some of the beers that you can try down there tonight. A very unique set of beers for most people, so go give them a try. I know I have never had any of these.

Eisenbahn Beers from Cervejaria Sudbrack in Blumenau, Brazil

Dourada- Eisenbahn's Dourada is brewed from an original South American recipe inspired in part by the eminently refreshing, light, crisp, golden ales found in the German city of Cologne - a South American take on a traditional Old World style. 4.8% ABV

Escura- Recently won a Bronze at the European Beer Star Awards in the Schwarzbier category. Eisenbahn's Escura takes it's dark, chestnut color and entrancing nuances of chocolate and licorice from the use of special roasted malts. A very rich Lager, but also brisk and refreshing. 4.8% ABV

SAPA- Eisenbahn's South American Pale Ale is well-balanced, with sweet wholesome malt, and earthy complexity, and a uniquely spicy aroma that results from a special, and secret, blend of Old and New World hops. 4.8% ABV

Vigorosa- Recently wona Bronze at the European Beer Star Awards in the Weizenbock Dunkel category. Eisenbahn's Vigorosa is an effervescent unfiltered wheat double bock with notes of toasted whole-grain bread, bananas, and chocolate. 8% ABV

Defumada- Eisenbahn's Defumada, very much like the famous smoked lagers of Bamberg, Germany, is brewed with a special, smoked barley malt, giving it a rich, smoky flavor and aroma. A delicious and immensely satisfying lager. 6.5% ABV

Enjoy!!
Prost!
