Another New release from the Monks

One thing you can never say, the Modern Monks lineup is stale and never changes. Adding to their already great list of beers they have released a Tripel. Here is their description from their blog.

The latest offering from the Modern Monks is our version of a Belgian Style Trippel. Pale gold with an intense honey aroma from the pale malt fused with subtle and spicy hop aroma. A healthy dose of noble Spalter Select hops late in the boil infuses the golden brew with a gentle herbal character that complements the bittering hops and sweetness of the malt. Many early tasters have compared the Trippel to the Brother’s Cup. While the Brothers didn’t set out to make an “Imperial” version of our flagship brew we readily acknowledge that one great beer might taste much like another. We see the Trippel as the perfect segue to the lighter beers of summer as we have two batches of our Brother’s Cup in the tanks awaiting the final magic of the yeast.

Look for the Trippel at these fine establishments:

Old Chicago - Lincoln NE.
Cresent Moon- Omaha NE.
