Double THURSDAY Tapping Party @ Bricktop

As promised, here is the can't miss Thursday double tapping party. If you are not in the loop, Bricktop will be closed for a private event this Friday, so we are getting down and dirty a day early instead with two gems. We will get it all started at 4pm!

First off will be a keg of Odell 'Saboteur' Brett Barrel Brown Ale- A limited barrel aged beer, the base is a big dark brown malty complex beer with 8 different malts, which goes through a secondary fermentation with Brettanomyces (Brett) in the previously used Woodcut #2 and #3 barrels. The Brett adds a light and crisp sour acidity, and and an almost pineapple-like character. This is absolutely delicious, and an amazing example of an American Wild Ale.

And second is a real treat as well. Salopian’s Entire Butt from England- A bold recreation a historical English porter, the term 'butt' was used to describe a porter blended from a variety of ales. Entire butt uses 14 different malts and 3 hops to recreate this forgotten style of porter. The beer is black/brown with a crisp white head and is distinctly vinous. It has little hop character as essentially the flavor is derived from the malts.

Get in here and enjoy these, and everything else, we have been tapping new stuff regularly throughout the week.

Cheers!
