Good Bye Rosenblatt free tasting

I was just emailed this and thought it seemed like a great event to catch, the last days of Rosenblatt are here and we might as well celebrate the great past with great beer.

Farewell to Rosenblatt Celebration

June 22, 2010
4 to 9 p.m.

As a neighbor to Rosenblatt stadium, Lauritzen Gardens has welcomed many baseball fans over the years during the series, and has chosen to bid farewell to our friend and neighbor in their final season. The garden, in partnership with Upstream Brewing Company, invites all to say goodbye during a free beer-tasting event on Tuesday, June 22, from 4 to 9 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to stroll the garden, listen to live music and experience nature among the beautiful surroundings during the twilight hours.

Admission for the evening will be waived, and visitors 21 and older will be able to sample five beers, courtesy of Upstream. To commemorate this special event, one craft brew will be created in honor of Johnny Rosenblatt and offered throughout the evening. Stadium-style food, additional beer and Upstream’s famous root beer will also be available for purchase.
