Jamil Zainasheff's Visit

I just back from Nebraska Brewing Company, where Jamil Zainasheff had stopped today on his way to the National Homebrewers Conference.  What a great time.  Jamil was cordial and pleasure to speak with.

Like a lot of people in the craft beer scene, it's really easy to find yourself carrying on a conversation like you have known the person for years.  Jamil was no exception.  There was many people who wanted to bend his ear for a few minutes, and he was more than happy to oblige even though his long RV trip was starting to catch up with him.

He had a travel companion -- Peter -- from Australia with him.  Peter was also a pleasure to speak with.  I think he is really enjoying the craft beer scene in the U.S.  Too bad the Aussies lost to Germany today.  "Oh, well," he said, "hopefully they will do better the next three games."

Thanks goes out the Paul for making the arrangement on this one.  It's always nice to share stories and beer with new and interesting people in the craft beer scene.
