Darios Brasserie French-Belgian food and beer in Omaha.

I had heard about a place like this in Omaha and thought it would be great to go to sometime but it kind of fell off my radar for whatever reason and I never found a link or got a name from someone to post about it on here.  Well, thanks to a reader, I was reintroduced to it today and got some great information about an upcoming beer dinner that I would like to post about, but first, I thought I would give a little run down on what the place is about.

I will let them explain themselves.

Dario’s specializes in Belgian Ales and traditional Brasserie food. Belgian Ales are produced in Monasteries and Abbeys which celebrate traditional brewing using the finest of ingredients. These monasteries date back as early as 1100 A.D. and have been brewing beer throughout their history. Belgian ales are often brewed using spring water from underneath the breweries as well as Hops, Barley, Malts, & Herbs grown within their walls.
Since the climate of Belgium does lend itself to wine making, these breweries consider their work as sacred has great Bordeaux wine makers, and pairing these beers with the foods of the region is a way of life.
Brasserie food specializes in braised meats, cured terrines, as well as classic french cooking.
In the tradition of Belgium Dario can offer a several course meal paired perfectly with some of the finest Ales in the world.
Originally from Bosnia, Chef/Owner Dario Schicke came from a family immersed in cooking as tradition. He traveled to Munich as a young man where he met his wife, Amy. They raised their family in New York City where Dario attended the French Culinary Institute, and ran a business focusing on Beer and Crepes. Upon moving to Omaha, the Schicke family conceived and opened Dario’s with a commitment to Traditional French/Belgian cooking and fine Ales.
If you aren't thirsty and hungry after that, well, you are dead inside.  I will definitely be heading to this place the next time I am in Omaha for Dinner.  Here is a list of their beers as well.

Now, on to the beer dinner.  It will take place Aug. 5th and listed below are the details.
