This coming Sunday, Sept. 12th, Nebraska Brewing Company will officially release Black Betty - a Stranahan's Whiskey Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout which is currently the highest rated in our Reserve Series line of Craft Beers.
Black as night and every bit Imperial, this Stranahan's Whiskey barrel aged version meshes the rich chocolates, the coffee-like aromatics with the sweet whiskey nose and drying character of the oak.
Slightly behind on the palate are the hops, held in restraint by the wonderfully full mouthfeel and broad flavors brought on by the perfect blend of so many malted barley varieties.
Ready to enjoy now and perfect for extended cellaring.

For those of you interested - this will be a Double Black release party...
We have the non-barrel-aged version on Tap8 today to provide for an interesting comparison - they are both incredible.
