Brass Monkey (Omaha)
Where: 36th & V St, Omaha
It's been a while since I've posted something about the Brass Monkey. I wanted to remind everyone of their great beer selection, very reasonable prices, and their Mug Club program.
For the Mug Club, all you need to do is drink 35 beers (not necessarily different) to receive entry. Then you will receive a half-liter mug, which you will need to bring with you when you visit the bar (as they do not have enough space to keep them there).
You will receive $2.50 fills on most beers any day. And on Mug Club days (2nd Wed of the month), you will receive $2 fills most on most beers. A few of the beers are little higher, but I don't recall ever seeing anything over $4. That is GREAT value for the money these days.
They have a great selection of craft beer...38 taps (2 of which are cask). There are also talks of expanding that number even more.
So, head on down to the Mug Club party this week (Wed, Oct 13). Non-club members receive double punches (they use a card system to keep track) on Mug Club days. Starts at noon, and ends at 2:00 a.m.

Just updated the post. They currently have 38 taps (2 of which are cask). They hope to be getting a cask or two of Upstream beer soon.
