Congratulations to Rich Chapin on his 20th anniversary with Empyrean Brewing Co. Legend has it, Rich was offered the job while he was working in a bike shop. Empyrean owner’s asked him if he wanted to come brew beer in a little, unknown restaurant (Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill) in the Haymarket; he hasn’t looked back since. Rich has brewed approximately 180 different types of beer over the years. To this day, we still love the thrill and excitement of tasting what he comes up with next. Congrats Rich!
