Cheese & Beer - Far & Near, March 4th @ Derailleur Tap Room
We have an exciting annoucement for an upcoming event at the Derailleur Tap Room in Bricktop. At 6pm on Friday, March 4th, we will be hosting a very special cheese and beer pairing unlike anything seen before in Nebraska. Over the last few weeks, Certified Cicerone Matt Stinchfield and I (Jason McLaughlin, Craft Beer Manager at Derailleur Tap Room) have been working on the perfect marriage of the two. We have sat down for hours mulling over a vast array of flavorful craft beers with over a dozen artisan cheeses from all over the world, looking for perfect combinations that unlock new deminsions of flavor. Matt and I will spend the evening giving guests a guided tour through each offering, with special help from our friends Marty Wells from The Saucy Cook and Krista from Branched Oak Farm. Five substantial portions of cheese with snifters of fine beer will be provided, and the finished line-up is sure to excite all beer and cheese lovers alike.
A limited number of tickets will be available for $45 at the Derailleur Tap Room beginning this Friday, February 18th at 4pm. Tickets will go fast, so be quick, as this experiance would catch a $65-$70 price tag in larger markets. The Derailleur Tap Room is located in Lincoln at 1427 O Street, next door to Yia Yia's.
