Old Chicago Happenings and etc.

I thought I would forward on some stuff I got from Old Chicago at a couple locations across the state.  They were concerned that it may not be something we would not want to post.  That is non-sense, if you have good beer being served or a special event surrounding good beer and hopefully including Nebraska beer we will gladly post it.  So here are some things going on and available at a couple Old Chicago locations.

Old Chicago Southpointe has brought in some new beers and an old favorite. New beers currently we have Modern Monks Blackbeard Oatmeal Chocolate Stout, Blvd Chocolate, and Odell Myrcenary Double IPA (Old Chicago exclusive). An old favorite that hasn’t been on draft in over 10 years in Lincoln, Murphy’s Irish Stout was put on today.
And this goes for all locations it appears.

Hello!

To help beer lovers celebrate the biggest beer drinking holiday in the world, Old Chicago just announced the kick off of its annual St. Pat’s Mini Tour. The St. Pat’s Mini Tour will run through March 17, and is an eight-beer tour where guests can sample traditional St. Pat’s favorites like Guinness Irish Stout, Killian’s Irish Red Lager, Smithwick’s Irish Ale and Harp Lager.

Guests who visit one of Old Chicago’s Colorado, Minnesota, Arizona, Kansas or Nebraska locations, will have the opportunity to try an exclusive beer – the Odell Myrcenary IPA – as part of their St. Pat’s Mini Tour. Additionally, guests in Colorado and Minnesota will have another exclusive beer – the Old Chicago Bitter Leprechaun ESB – as part of the tour. These exclusive beers will be available only while supplies last, so guests should hurry in to try them.

Old Chicago’s St. Pat’s Mini Tour celebrations kick off today, Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. with tapping parties for the Guinness Irish Stout each of the restaurant chain’s more than 100 locations nationwide. And let’s not forget the coveted Mini Tour T-shirt…. Old Chicago’s 1.3 million World Beer Tour members who complete the Tour will receive the highly coveted Mini Tour T-shirt to ensure they won’t get pinched on St. Patrick’s Day.
