This Friday at Derailleur Tap Room will be the tapping of something very special. I am certain that few have ever had the chance of drinking a coffee IPA, but Mikkeller has made sure to change that. 'Koppi IPA' is an India Pale Ale brewed with Tomahawk hops known for their pungent and citrus character, as well as Guji Natural coffee from the Swedish roaster Koppi. As odd as it sounds, the marriage is well received, and the coffee adds a subtle layer to the resiny citrus hops. Doors open at 4PM for "The worlds first coffee IPA"!
