Here are the details for the Cheese and Beer pairings as well as the Chocolate and Beer pairings events taking place during American Craft Beer Week.

Join the Upstream Brewing Company Legacy, Executive Pastry Chef Grant Hon and Brewmaster Michael Hall to explore the wonderful world of Beer and Cheese.  What's that you say?  You only thought wine went with cheese.  Well, think again and bring your significant other or just your cheesy pal to this event where you'll enjoy pairing artisanal ales and lagers with Executive Pastry Chef Grant Hon’s meticulously selected artisanal cheese’s & handmade confections. 

This event will pair seven different beer styles from ales, lagers, grand cru and more with unique artisanal cheeses & handmade confections. We'll introduce your taste buds to flavors you never knew existed.  We also imagine that the combination of beer and cheese will inspire much love for American Craft Beer Week.

Join the Upstream Brewing Company Old Market, Executive Pastry Chef Grant Hon and Brewmaster Michael Hall to explore the wonderful world of Beer and Chocolate.  What's that?  You didn't think beer went with chocolate.  Well, think again and bring your significant other or just your sweet tooth to this event where you'll enjoy pairing artisanal ales and lagers with Executive Pastry Chef Grant Hon’s handcrafted house made chocolate & confections. 

This event will pair seven different beer styles with delicious hand crafted chocolates & confections.  We'll mix and match great beer and chocolate flavors like sweet and salty, nutty and coffee, and fruity and dark bitterness.  Much like cacao beans, malted grains are roasted before they are used to make beer and as we venture into the brave new world of Stouts, Bocks, Grand Cru and more. We'll introduce your taste buds to flavors you never knew existed.  We also imagine that the combination of chocolate and beer will inspire much love for American Craft Beer Week.
