I know, this is the Nebraska Beer Blog, but with Iowa only a few miles away from some of us and the fact their craft beer scene seems to be growing exponentially I thought this was a relevant post. Actually, Matt at The Palate Jack was kind enough to send it our way, thanks Matt.
Visitors to the Iowa State Fair will be able to stop at the inaugural Iowa Craft Beer Tent at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. This is pretty cool and really cool they have a site dedicated to it and a facebook page as well. That is some serious collaboration across the brewers, if that is how it was formed. I also like the band aspect. The Nebraska Craft Brewers Association should take a look at this and see what, if anything, they can do to replicate this. At the new Nebraska State Fair location there is plenty of room for something like this and would definitely add to the experience. If it isn't them one of you resourceful beer geeks should get it going...Bueller, Bueller...
The tent will feature 13 Iowa breweries and three regional breweries. Thirty-six beers will be on tap for the Aug. 11-21 fair.
A representative from each brewery will be on hand to share knowledge with guests at informal seminars each day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local musicians will also perform.

Its great post on nebraskar beer. Beer brewing is an art and it got to be done with perfect combo for getting proper output of it.
You should check the webpage out for the Regional Breweries that will be involved alongside the 13 Iowa breweries. I think it may just make your day.
