The good folks from Empyrean have been at it again! Once again we will tap two casks:I heard rumors that cask nights are going to become a lot more frequent for a few different pubs as they have acquired the firkins/pins to have the breweries fill. That has been the expense and barrier and now is becoming less and less. Good news for all.
Don't know about you, but I'm already thirsty!
- Rye Whiskey Infused Third Stone Brown
- Strawberry Infused Vanilla Porter
As always, the first cask will be tapped at 5 PM, and the second will be tapped when the first runs out. Get there early or miss out, the Library Pub has a reputation for draining casks quickly!

Other than Crescent Moon, Brass Monkey, Jake's Lincoln, and Jake's Omaha. Who else has a beer engine to dispense the casks. Will the cask nights be poured by gravity? Just curious. I love cask beer from an engine.
Upstream (Old Market) and I heard there may be one at the new Brick House Tavern + Tap (Westroads).
Didn't see one at the Brick House a month or so ago.
And for those who don't want to click over to The Library's calendar, Empyrean Cask Night is scheduled for 23 July.
@Eric...How was it? I've been meaning to stop in there.
Nick, From memory, I'd say about 15 different beers on tap. Mostly typical macros, with a couple others. Guiness, Bass, Blue Moon, Fat tire, Goose Island Honkers, and NBC's cardinal. Little more selection in bottles, but not a whole lot. They use some of the valuable fridge space to offer 40's of the same domestics on tap.
Didn't eat, but the food looked good. I'll go back sometime, but I'm in no hurry.
Brick House has Vanilla Porter on cask currently. I was there two days ago.
