Nebraska Brewing Company loads up on more awards
As you will see in this press release, Nebraska Brewing Company is showing consistently great results with their beers and it isn't always the same ones over and over again. One that really grabbed my attention was a silver with an American IPA in the La County Fair BJCP judged event. This is very impressive to me considering the west coast bias of IPAs that exists and how "they" feel they should taste. Translation, if you want a west coast IPA, you don't have to go far for a very good one. Congrats guys!
(Papillion, NE) – Nebraska Brewing Company claimed 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in the recently concluded 2011 Los Angeles International Commercial Beer Competition.
The Los Angeles International Beer Competition is organized and run by the L.A. County Fair. It is registered with the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and the Brewers Association. Medals in the competition’s 68 beer-style categories were awarded June 17th 2011.
Nebraska Brewing Company’s IPA was awarded a Silver Medal in the American Style India Pale Ale Category. A second Silver Medal was awarded to the Reserve Series Apricot au Poivre Saison in the Fruit and Vegetable Beer Category and a Bronze Medal was awarded to Hop God (a Belgo-American hybrid Ale) in the Other Belgian Style Strong Specialty Ale Category.
Paul Kavulak, President of Nebraska Brewing Company stated: “When we started entering competitions, it was to seek opinions outside of our local area. We’re absolutely thrilled to continue to be ranked so well in competitions against some of the Nation’s finest Craft Beers.”
Kim Kavulak, Vice President & General Manager noted: ”Recognition in National and International Competitions amongst some of the greatest Brewers and Breweries in the industry characterizes our dedication to producing world class beers each and every day.”
Nebraska Brewing Company was formed in November of 2007 and has established itself as a Midwest Innovator of quality Craft Beers and artisanal Barrel-Aged Products. Building on a reputation for quality, flavor, and creativity – Nebraska Brewing Company strives to be a stand-out in an ever growing field.
