This Friday (July 15th) the Lincoln Jake's will be a rocking tap release party for a collaboration between Boulevard Brewing in Kansas City and Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon. Boulevard's brewmaster Steven Pauwels is well known for making delicious Belgian-style beers, while Larry Sidor (former brewmaster) of Deschutes has the long legacy of making delicious hop forward brews. The two have teamed up to create 'Collaboration No. 2 White I.P.A.', which is a seamless blend of a creamy Belgian-style witbier with citrusy hop character of an American IPA. This one is not an over the top bitter hop-bomb by any means, but rather a very well balanced fusion between two delicious styles that show off their refreshing and fruity attributes swimmingly.
We will get this open started at 4pm, come thirsty.
SNEAK PEAK: Next Friday (July 22nd) will be a tapping party for Empyrean Brewing Co.'s Beer Quest winner Aaron Carnes and his delicious Extra Special Red.
