Homebrewer in Lincoln Journal Star

I saw this article posted today on the Lincoln Lagers Facebook page.  This is great getting exporsure like this and they used a great example of someone that partakes in this hobby and does it very well. 

I don't know Aaron, but I know many highly educated people in scientific fields that get into the hobby for the same reasons he did.  You usually see 2 groups of people in homebrewing, or at least those that stick it out.  You have the scientest types or those that really dig the science of it and you have the art/creative types or those that wish to be.  You will see blends of these two but generally this is how it breaks down.  That is what makes this hobby so great because there is so much for someone to learn through many different avenues. 

So thanks Journal Star for highlighting the hobby, wish you would have paid attention when Aaron told you what was going on so as to not make the mistake to call the mash the wort but hey, we aren't all beer geeks.
