Mikkeller 'Frelser Triple Bock' Tapping Party @ Jake's Lincoln

So this Friday (8/5) at the Lincoln Jake's is going to rock, with a very special and delicious beer from Mikkeller. Frelser is the name that the Danish brewer has given what he calls a "Triple Bock". Loaded with lush deep fruit character of fig and raisin, rich molasses, and chocolate caramel, this is a real treat from a great brewery.

Commercial description "This Bock from Mikkeller is called Frelser, which means Savior in Danish. The name is a subtle reference to all Bocks Mother: Salvator. Originally the monks brewed Salvator because they needed a very strong and rich beer during Lent. Do not drink this beer instead of a meal, it contains 11% alcohol."

We will get things started at 4pm, see you there!

Would be nice to enjoy these beers in a smoke-free environment. What happened to Bricktop?

Bricktop closed several months ago.

As for the smoke free environment, it has been mentioned on here, although I have never been, that the air handling has improved at Jake's. You might give it another try and see, you never know.
