New Belgium/Elysian collaboration sour ale @ Jake's Lincoln
This Friday (8/19) at Jake's Lincoln will be another great sour ale tapping party! That is right, two weeks in a row of sour love. This time we will be getting down with 'Kick', a collaboration between New Belgium from Fort Collins and Elysian Brewing from Seattle. Kick is labeled as 80% ale brewed with pumpkin and cranberry juice, 20% ale aged in wooden barrels. Keep them coming New Belgium!
We will get things started at 4pm, and for those who were not at Jake's in time to try the New Belgium 'Clutch' last week, we just put another keg on tap;)

First I was continually jealous of the tapping parties that the Bricktop had every week and now it seems like Jake's is picking up that slack. How come up the road in Omaha none of our beer bars get in on this? I know the Moon regularly rotates some pretty neat stuff into their rotation but I can't help but feel I'd be more inclined to go if they organized it into a little party like this, and had it on a weekly basis.
Or why not Jake's in Omaha?!?! I feel like they could really increase their beer geek crowd with events like this and if they worked to greatly improve their smoke removal and maybe clean their tap lines a little more :)
+1 on events like this at the Jake's in Omaha.
You are all right, and from this Friday forward, Jake's Omaha is on board. Stay tuned...
Rick, the beer bar area is completely smoke free, and the tap lines are less than 2 months old.
Great news. Thanks, Jason.
