Jake's Friday Tapping Parties (Lincoln Sour & Omaha Freaktoberfest)
Jake's Friday (9/23) tapping parties:
LINCOLN will have a sour taste in it's mouth at this Friday's tapping party. Age has done well for the 2010 release of Sprecher Kriek Lambic (released almost 1 year ago to the day), and we thank a good friend of Jake's for digging through the vaults for this one. A sour ale made with Wisconsin organic malt and Door County cherry juice for the celebration of Sprecher's 25th anniversary.
OMAHA is feeling strangely festive this Friday, and will be showing it with the tapping of Coney Island Freaktoberfest from the Shmaltz Brewing Company (makers of HE'BREW). This Oktoberfest-styled & Halloween themed beer is described by the brewery as a "Blood Red Lager" that uses 6 malts & 6 hops, coming out at 6.66% ABV.
5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)
5:30 pm Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
