Jake's Friday Tapping Parties (Lincoln Pumpkin & Omaha Belgian-Style Collaborati‏on)

Jake's Friday (9/30) tapping parties:

LINCOLN is feeling festive, and with the cool breeze of fall at our doorstep, there is no better time for a delicious Pumpkin Beer... make that an Imperialized Pumpkin Beer. Every year at this time, a very special spiced ale rolls out of Weyerbacher that is the talk of the town amongst the better beer lovers. Bursting with pumpkin pie spices (Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves), and weighing in at 8% ABV, this is the perfect compliment to the season.

OMAHA will be featuring 'Gnomegang', a collaboration ale from two outstanding breweries. Ommegang from Cooperstown, NY (makers of Hennepin & Three Philosophers) and Brasserie d’Achouffe from Achouffe, Belgium (makers of La Chouffe & Chouffe Houblon Dobbelen IPA Tripel). These sister breweries have created a Belgian Golden Strong Ale with all the good stuff you would expect; Bready malts, spicy yeast phenolics, light fruity esters of peaches and pears, and a dry finish with a subtle lemony citrus note lasting into the finish. Outstanding.
