So you are going to Madison, where to go??

If you are going to the game this weekend you may wonder where you should go for some quality craft beer. We were contacted this weekend by Vintage Brewing Co. of Madison and here is what they had to say. I think we are going to like the Big 10 a lot! So go up there cheer hard and have fun!

My name's Scott Manning, brewmaster/ partner of Vintage Brewing Company, a family owned and operated brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. As we don't distribute outside our home state, it may seem far-fetched to be making this introduction to beer people focused on Nebraska craft beer. With an epic football matchup between our state schools only a week away, however, and knowing Husker fans' dedication to their team, I thought I might be of assistance in pointing out some of Madison's craft beer highlights for your readers planning on making the trip to Wisconsin. As we're the new brewpub in town, I'd love to take the chance to personally invite Husker fans to stop by Vintage Brewing Co. for a sample. We have great food, a prodigious lineup of our own brews, a stellar selection of guest craft beer (Nebraska Brewing Co's Cardinal Pale on tap next weekend!), plenty of free parking and shuttle service to/from the stadium on our Vintage Prison Bus. And though we love our Badgers, we extend a warm welcome and old-fashioned Midwestern hospitality to our visiting fans, too.
Wisconsinites and Nebraskans have a lot in common, including rabid devotion to our football teams and love of great craft beer. For me they go hand in hand! I'm looking forward the game, and also to making some new friends from the great state of Nebraska.

Sounds like a lot of fun, here is hoping for a husker win and meeting new friends up in Wisconsin! What a change from the Big 12 huh? You think anyone from Austin ever contacted us and offered to help find quality craft beer while we are there? Oh wait, they don't have any in Texas.
