New Belgium Lips of Faith Release this Friday @ Jake's Omaha

Jake's Omaha will be hosting the Omaha release for two new Lips of Faith beers from New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, Colorado. New Belgium has done wonderful things with this limited line of seasonal beers, and this release will be no different. Please join us and host Ron Nelson from New Belgium, as we dive into 'Prickly Passion Saison' and 'Fresh Hop India Pale Ale'.

Brewery descriptions:

PRICKLY PASSION SAISON- "Prickly Pear cactus and passion fruit mingle together for New Belgium's return to farmhouse ales. Prickly Passion Saison is truly a beer for Belgian inspiration. The combination of passion fruit and prickly pear juices with tropical esters of traditionally earthy Saison yeast create a wonderfully broad and reaching mango-like character. Ostentatiously amber, this Prickly Passion Saison is sure to provoke the palate with a passionate prick."

FRESH HOP INDIA PALE ALE- "A truckload of fresh hops on a midnight run from Washington State to Northern Colorado made it to our kettles just in time. Fresh Hop IPA is a citrus punch of the green stuff: Amarillo, Centennial and Cascade hops straight off the vine. This brazen and deliciously bitter IPA pours deeply golden with the slight haze of a really hoppy beer. The fresh hops poke you right in the nose and the liquid hits your tongue with a sharp blast, finishing light and dry. This is the hop harvest, in a glass, just for you."

Be sure to stop by and have a pint with Ron, he will also be handing out New Belgium swag including t-shirts, and glassware.

Tapping release starts at 5:30 pm. on Fri, Nov 4 at Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple).
