Omaha Beer Fest 2012 Connoisseur Night



OMAHA BEER FEST Plans Connoisseur Night
OMAHA, NE March 7, 2012 – Craft beer aficionados are getting excited about a night just for them to kick off the second annual Omaha Beer Fest. Connoisseur Night, sponsored by Boulevard Brewing Co, will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 1316 Jones Street in the Old Market, Omaha.
Connoisseur Night, part of the Omaha Beer Fest weekend, will take beer enthusiasts through a tasting by Spiegelau Glassware to demonstrate the impact the glass makes on taste and overall experience of the craft beers from Boulevard Brewing Co.
Attendees will enjoy a 90 minute presentation and comparative glass tasting by Matthew Rutkowski. Rutkowski is the Vice President for Spiegelau, the world’s oldest glass manufacturer. During the session, attendees will enjoy 4 different Boulevard craft beers, each paired with a specific glass. After the seminar, attendees will get to take home their set of Spiegelau Beer Classics glassware, valued at $50.
Tickets for the Connoisseur Night range from $60-$80, and include either a General Admission ticket or a VIP ticket for the Omaha Beer Fest. Tickets are limited to 200 and are available now at www.omahabeerfest.com.
Attendance supports Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), the official festival beneficiary. PPMD is leading the fight to end Duchenne, the most devastating form of muscular dystrophy.
