Jake's Friday Tapping Parties: Lincoln- Crabtree Black IPA & Berliner Weisse / Omaha: Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere

Friday (6/15) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: Crabtree Brewing Company from Greely, Colorado is new to Lincoln, and this will be the first time it has ever been offered on draft in the Star City.  To celebrate, we will have a double tapping party with two tasty beers.

Crabtree Brewing 'Eclipse Black IPA': "Our Belgo-Style Black IPA is an exquisite fusion of black roasted chocolate malts, and a generous heap of hops. Bitterly aggressive with fruity esters and a savory aroma making this one superior brew."

Crabtree Brewing 'Berliner Weisse': "An old-style German Wheat Ale with a short lactic fermentation. Light & crisp with an acidic sour bite that aims to please. Traditionally served with raspberry or woodruff syrup, but can be enjoyed without."

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha will be tapping Sierra Nevada 'Southern Hemisphere', a delicious hop forward ale using fresh hops from New Zealand (Pacific Hallertau, Motueka and Southern Cross).

"Like our Celebration Ale, the fresh hops in this beer are dried right after being picked then shipped immediately to Chico for brewing so that they retain their peak aromatics and flavors. To ensure the freshest hops possible, we went to the added expense of flying these hops from New Zealand to Chico so we could brew with them the week after they were picked."
