Jake's Friday Tapping Parties: Lincoln- Great Divide Wolfgang Doppelbock / Omaha- Odell Pedal Push

Friday (7/20) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: There have been a few treats rolling in from Great Divide out of Colorado.  The featured beer for this Friday is a new seasonal by the name of 'Wolfgang Doppelbock Lager', an 8% ABV Doppelbock with fantastic caramel and toasty notes.

Brewery description:

"Originally called “liquid bread,” the Doppelbock style sustained monks through periods of penitent fasting. Wolfgang has heavenly notes of caramel, dark fruit, and toffee balanced by a subtle hop character. While its revered history evokes an appreciation of austerity and sacrifice, this Doppelbock is a rich luxury—no repentance required."

ALSO: Keep a look out for Belgian Yeti (Russian Imperial Stout brewed with Belgian yeast) and Rumble (Oak aged IPA).  They are both in the cooler just waiting for a free draft line!

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: In case you have been keeping up with the Nebraska Beer Blog, Jake's Omaha is in the middle of a '12 Days of Odell' celebration.  Every day for, 12 full days, Jake's Omaha is tapping a different Odell Brewing Co. beer, and they sent us some great stuff for the event.  This Friday will be the tapping of 'Pedal Push' (ride the Rockies Light Session Ale).  Don't waste time or a chance to try this one!

5:30 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
