Jake's Friday Tapping Parties- Lincoln: Odell Mountain Standard / Omaha: Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin

Friday (9/28) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It's that time of year again when Odell puts out one of our seasonal favorites. Named after their local time zone, 'Mountain Standard Double Black IPA' is a real treat for all hopheads AND dark beer lovers. Loaded with coffee, chocolate, grapefruit and Pine...Yum.

From the breweries website "As the Colorado hop growers prove they can produce world class hops, we as a Colorado Craft Brewer want to showcase what our state can offer, not only with our hand crafted beers, but also with the ingredients used in creating them. Mountain Standard, Double Black IPA, features the homegrown hops our Brewers helped pick from farms along Colorado’s western slope. MST pours committingly dark with a light tan head and a slightly roasted hoppy nose. An ephemeral bitterness, the result of combining roasted malts with an assertive American hop profile, contributes to MST’s act of balance and harmony. As the season’s darkness sets in, why shouldn't your beer become darker too?"

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha is feeling festive, and with the cool breeze of fall at our doorstep, there is no better time for a delicious Pumpkin Beer... make that an Imperialized Pumpkin Beer.  Every year at this time, a very special spiced ale rolls out of Weyerbacher that is the talk of the town amongst the better beer lovers.  Bursting with pumpkin pie spices (Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves), and weighing in at 8% ABV, this is the perfect compliment to the season.
