Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Crabtree 'Chunkin Pumpkin' / Omaha: Odell 'The Meddler'

Friday (10/12) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It is definitely fall.  Pumpkin beers have already been flowing out of taps across the nation.  Friday in Lincoln will be the release of another good one.  'Chunkin Pumpkin' from Crabtree Brewing Company out of Greeley, Colorado.

Brewery Description: "Our Serenity meets sweet and savory with this scrumptious seasonal beer. Real CSA locally grown pumpkins are baked, chunked and thrown directly into the mash tun with a cornucopia of spices. Perfect on a fall day when the leaves begin to change. Loving this beer is as easy as pie!"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Some Friday release parties are simply amazing at Jake's.  This Friday will be one of those days.  We are very lucky and excited to have our hands on a keg of Odell Brewing Company's 'The Meddler', a Belgian-style Oud Bruin.

Brewery Description: "Inspired by a resurrected style from the Flemish region of Belgium, The Meddler Oud Bruin is a blend of several generations of brown ales that were barrel aged for over 18 months. Wild yeasts, Lactobacillus, and Brettanomyces meddle with the beer creating complexity and depth of flavor. Intricate, yet balanced, The Meddler has an 8.9% ABV."

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
