Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Green Flash Friendship Brew / Omaha: Nommo Dubbel & Double Chocolate Stout

Friday (10/5) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: It's time to get down with another fantastic collaboration, this time between Green Flash (San Diego) and St. Feuillien (Le Roeulx, Belgium).  A black saison brewed with star of anise, grains of paradise & other secret spices.

Brewery description- "Our second collaboration with Brasserie St-Feuillien, Friendship Brew, is a Black Saison that blends European and American hops, Belgian yeast and a cache of secret spices. The aroma and flavors are enticing, with delicate fruitiness, subtle spice and rounded roast malt characteristics. Bottle conditioning provides lively carbonation and rich beer foam for a luscious body and a lean, dry finish."

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: Omaha will be getting down with a double tapping party!

Boulevard Nommo Dubbel: Brewery description- "Dubbel is a beer style developed by Belgian Trappists in the Middle Ages, part of a naming convention that also includes the lighter single and stronger trippel. All well and good, you say, but what’s this “Nommo” business? Well, the Nommo are ancestral spirits worshipped by the Dogon tribe of the West African nation of Mali. The name is derived from a Dogon word meaning “to make one drink.” No, really. Nommo usually described as amphibious, hermaphroditic, fish-like creatures, were created by the sky god Amma, who caused them to multiply by splitting them intodoubled sets of twins. Seeing a trend here? Maybe it’s farfetched, but we think the story of the Nommo makes this whole enterprise a little more fun and interesting."

Rogue Double Chocolate Stout: Brewery description- "Double Chocolate Stout is an evolution of Rogue Chocolate Stout, which is flavored with imported Dutch bittersweet chocolate.  In 2010, Double Chocolate Stout received a Gold Medal at the World Beer Championships." BTW, this is a rare one on tap! Don’t miss out.

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
