Jake's Friday- Lincoln: Ska Mole Stout / Omaha: Sierra Nevada Narwhal

Friday (10/26) tapping parties for the Lincoln & Omaha Jake's

LINCOLN JAKE'S: Sometimes it just makes sense to get a bit wild with a standard beer style, and that is exactly what Ska Brewing Company out of Durango, CO has done with their Autumnal Mole Stout.  A well done blend of chocolate and spice, it is a perfect display of balance.

Brewery description: "The Autumnal Mole Stout is an ale brewed with cocoa nibs, spices and three varieties of chile peppers: Mulato, Ancho and Hatch green chiles, (also known as Anaheim Peppers.)"

5:00 pm Jake's Lincoln (14th & P St.)

OMAHA JAKE'S: It's the Omaha Jake's turn with the new Sierra Nevada 'Narwhal' Imperial Stout.  A very welcome addition to Sierra's High Altitude Series, it is dark as night with rich complexity and depth of roast with ample bitterness, and nearly chewable.  The 10.2% ABV is sure to warm you up.

Brewery description: "Narwhal Imperial Stout is he latest beer in Sierra Nevada’s  High Altitude Series. This malt-forward monster is bold – with notes of baker’s cocoa, molasses, and dark roasted coffee. This massive imperial stout is incredibly complex, rich, and intense"

5:00 Jake's Omaha (62nd & Maple)
