From Spilker Ales
Greetings and salutations beer fans!
We will be having open house and tours at Spilker Ales from:
3:30pm-6:30pm Tuesday Oct 9th,
3:30pm-7:30ish Friday Oct 12th
12:30-4pm Saturday Oct 13th
Only Hopluia will be for sale in cases of six 22 oz. bottles, with a minimum of one case.
They will come to $3.912/bottle each before tax and remember to keepem cold.
The time between open houses has expanded to a biennial event, so I hope you can make the trip this time around.
Friday may, or may not include a splintering theatrical production for your entertainment starting at 5:30pm. Exhilaration or massive disappointment will depend on your personality and the course of events. We have limited time and budget so just keep your expectations low and hopeful.
Keep asking for Hopluia wherever you go! A few recent additions to carry Hopluia in Lincoln are 9th st Chargrill, Aura, The Bar, Both BW3s, Grata, Legends, Libations, Sam& Louies in Seward, Beatrice & Lincoln, Triple Crown in Pickrell, Tigers Den in Odell, and Biggs in Beatrice. Some recent Omaha additions are Omaha Tap House, House of loom, Jerrys Bar, Pageturners, T-Henerys, Grey Plume, Brass Monkey, and the Mattress Factory.
I will be giving tours and fielding questions throughout all 3 days, but if you would like to pick the brewers brain extensively, Tuesday will be your best chance.
FYI the Cortland Tavern is currently closed for those of you planning a meal with your tour.
