Compiled from their event website/Facebook pages:

The 3rd annual Benson Beer Fest will take over Maple St. outside of Jake's Cigars in the heart of the Benson Business District this Saturday afternoon, June 7th.
You’ll find a staggering selection of high-quality craft-brewed beer from all over the world, with a special concentration on Midwest regional producers. An event ticket grants you a glass and access to unlimited samples from over 80 participating beer tables covering a wide range of regional microbrews, imported beers, and area homebrew clubs.

The story of Benson Beer Fest:

One afternoon, over a round of beers, the managers of Jake’s & Krug Park noted the astronomical rise of interest in Craft-Beer. Americans are drinking Pale Ales, Stouts, Ciders and more. But, many beer festivals serve the same-old stale lagers and craft-imposters. So, we decided to step in and do it right. Benson Beer Festival is all about the beer. With a sharp focus on quality-made Craft and Import Beers, we’re a bit different. We select each beer with careful attention. We try hard to provide a wide-array of beers and ciders, light to dark, sweet to dry and everything in-between. You’ll also notice a large section of Benson Beer Fest devoted to Home-Brewers. Working with local Home-Brewer Clubs, we present a unique opportunity for them to present their creations to the public.

Benson Beer Festival is produced by Jake’s Cigars & Spirits and Krug Park, with support from The Waiting Room and Beercade. All profits go to making next years fest bigger and better.
