Beer and bacon, what more could you ask for! The First Annual Beer and Bacon Festival tempted the crowd's taste buds and raised over $12,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. Over 1,200 attendees sampled brews and bacon dishes from various vendors around Omaha and the Midwest.
The Second annual festival is going to be bigger than the first and will be held on August 2, 2014 at the Old Mattress Factory on 13th & Cass Sts. This is an event attendees won't want to miss out on! This year's festival will start at 3pm and tastings will end at 6pm CT. Live music performance during the festival by Too Drunk To Fish. The festival will conclude at 8pm.
The first 1,000 attendees to purchase a ticket will receive a 2014 Beer & Bacon commemorative mug. The ticket cost is $30 which includes dozens of delicious brews to sip on while trying the various bacon dishes to sample!
This event is organized by the Omaha Jaycees with proceeds again this year to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House.
