Not likely that anyone will read this, but a great festival. "Holiday" beers are a lot different than the orange peel, nutmeg, and clove beers of a few years back, and for better or worse, cover a humongous variety of beers. After the festival the predominant taste in my mouth was from the coconut and chocolate porter that I'd had about an hour earlier, but probably from other exotic flavorings added to other stouts too, such as the off-program Hawaiian Barrel Stout.

I would agree. Holiday beers have come a long way from just a few years ago.
