Earth Day (4/22, all day)
As part of our continuing efforts to be environmentally conscious we are teaming up with a local organization that is working to add carbon-sequestering green space to our urban environments for Earth Day. We will be working with Big Red Worms, the organization that takes our compost! This division of the Nebraska Farmer’s Union uses traditional hot composting, and then feeds this material to worms to create a nutrient-dense soil.
We will also enlist the help of our brewery friends. We will be donating a portion of pint sales from the following beers to Big Red Worms and we will match this donation up to $300.

From 11:00am until 2:00pm on 4/22, Big Red Worms will be on hand with information on what they do in our community and volunteer opportunities for our guests.
